Metco was founded in 1986 by a leading Egyptian Businessman Mr.Abdel Moniem El Mikati who had the vision to establish a new company to become one of most recognized company in the Egyptian market in our field.
Our mission was to target the most prestigious jobs in the country and become the key participant in the field of building materials and building operations.
From this vision we worked with the most reputable manufacturers in the field of building materials from Europe and USA especially in architecture and building ceramics as well as stone and tile adhesives.
We consequently participated in our first two decades in the most prestigious jobs in Egypt whether governmental public or private sector.
Having achieved our mission and as we entered the new millennium we decided to move into a wider spectrum.
Industry was one of the strategies we decided to take, partnering with a leading manufacture in the stone industry we established HM stones in year 2000.
Yet this was not enough, our spectrum was wider and our goals where higher.
